Stage 1. Insulating Air Pocket
An air space between the hot tub shell and EnerSmart
Insulation traps and retains heat energy from the hot
tub plumbing and the hot tub water.
Acting much like today's modern thermal pane windows,
the insulating air pocket traps heat from the plumbing
and the hot tub water creating the first of two "Thermal
Locs"
Allows for easy access to the plumbing on all four sides
of the hot tub in the inlikely event that the hot tub
plumbing requires service

|
Stage 2. EnerSmart Insulation
A high-density 2 lb. closed cell insulation is applied
to the entire base of the hot tub and is generously
applied on top of a specially installed vapor barrier
that forms the insulating air pocket. EnerSmart insulation
has the highest R-value in the industry (R7 per inch).
Fully insulates the bottom of the hot tub
Provides maximum possible heat retention within the
hot tub water and plumbing
Secures the hot tub plumbing and prevents future leaks
that many competitors are experiencing from the continual
movement of unsecured plumbing

|
Stage 3.Thermal Loc Chamber
An air chamber is created between the EnerSmart
Insulation and the Thermal Seal Blanket. The "Thermal
Loc Chamber" allows the excess heat created by
the hot tub pump(s) to be trapped and utilized which
dramatically aids in the hot tubs efficiency.
The excess heat created by the pump(s) makes the outdoor
environment around the hot tub warmer resulting in the
hot tubs heating system coming on less often and creates
the second of two "Thermal Locs"

Stage 4.Thermal Vent &
Thermal Seal Blanket
A specially constructed Thermal Seal Blanket is
installed on the inside perimeter of the hot tub cabinet.
Strategically placed adjustable Thermal Vents are installed
through the cabinetry and Thermal Seal Blanket.
The "Thermal Seal Blanket" along with the
hot tub cabinetry is the final stage of insulation between
the elements and the hot tub water
The "Thermal Seal Blanket" and hot tub cabinetry
traps excess heat created by the hot tubs pump(s) allowing
the hot tub to recover and utilize this excess heat
The adjustable "Thermal Vents" allows you
to fully trap the excess heat in the cooler months and
exhaust excess heat in the warmer months. This results
in maximum energy efficiency while allowing you to maintain
your favorite temperature as accurately as possible

Stage 5.EnerSmart Hard Cover
& Polymer Base
Each and every hot tub is capped off, top and bottom.
Hydropool's standard EnerSmart Hard Cover is a full
4" thick in the centre and tapers to 3" at
the sides to allow water and melting snow to run off
while trapping the heat inside the hot tub. The cover
seals against the hot tub shell and locks tighly at
four points on the cabinet. The bottom of a Hydropool
Hot Tub is capped off with a heavy-duty sheet of PVC
or "Polymer Base" that completely seals the
footprint of the hot tub.
Seals and protects the top and bottom of the hot tub
from the elements while keeping the heat in
Keeps small children, pets, pests, animals out of the
hot tub
Prevents algae growth, ground moisture and the accumulation
of leaves and other outdoor debris from entering the
hot tub

Stage 6.Programmable Thermostat
& Controls
Just like a modern furnace in today's homes, your
Hydropool Hot Tub includes a programmable thermostat.
Your Hydropool Hot Tub does not need to operate 24 hours
per day. You simply select your desired water temperature
and the hot tub warms the water up to this temperature.
Once it reaches this temperature, the hot tub automatically
turns off to conserve energy. Should the water drop
below the set temperature, it temporarily turns back
on to warm up the water and then turns off again.
The hot tubs circulating pump is turned on in the morning
and in the evening to automatically clean and sanitize
the hot tub water
A Hydropool Hot Tub filters 100% of its water every
15 minutes due to its innovative "Self
Clean System". This dramatically reduces the
amount of time that the circulating pump is on which
further enhances the hot tubs energy efficiency
