Designed to fit virtually anywhere with the right planning
Always pre-plan your access to your swim spa and plan around that thinking. First, you will need have access to one or more sides for maintenance; the number of sides depends on the model chosen. Secondly we suggest you talk to your Retailer to make sure that your idea for the installation provides the proper access into your unit. When it comes to installing your Hydropool Swim Spa, and you have determined the perfect location for it, there are a few considerations to think about for the actual installation…

For indoor installs
New home construction is the easiest to execute, but requires the right planning and scheduling. When you are going to install your swim spa there are many installation methods. It is possible to build the floor up around the swim spa to give it a built-in appearance. For above-ground installations you can choose the optional furniture grade finish cabinetry. By keeping the skirting as part of the install you can integrate that
finished look into your room design. When placing your Swim Spa in the basement or a grade-level space such as a sunroom, or a garage use materials that are water resistant for flooring, ceiling and walls. As with any indoor installation you will need to control humidity, which is inevitable with an in-home pool installation. An optional auxiliary heating by-pass is available for alternate heat sources. An indoor pool is usually out of reach for most people but with a Hydropool Swim Spa it is truly a consideration as it is much less expensive to install, and requires less space. Where possible, leaving a service access of at least 2 feet (61 cm) on all sides is recommended.

For outdoor installs
Remember that a Hydropool Swim Spa is designed for outdoor year-round use in most northern climates. When installing outside, the flat level surface we recommend is a poured concrete pad to support your swim spa.
